Companion Animals

Companion Animals

I offer non-medical support for companion animals and the people who love them as they navigate serious illness, aging, dying, or euthanasia decisions. My role is to bring calm presence, thoughtful guidance, and practical help during a time that can feel heartbreaking and overwhelming.

Every approach is shaped by the needs, values, and preferences of the animal and their human family.

Support may include:

  • Heart-centered companionship through presence, listening, and simple rituals that honor your pet’s journey — including sitting vigil when the time comes
  • Practical guidance with quality-of-life reflections, support in exploring possible euthanasia options and providers, aftercare choices, and respite for caregivers
  • Education & preparation about what to expect in the dying process, including common physical changes, comfort measures, and supportive decision-making
  • Legacy expression through photo projects, paw print keepsakes, recorded memories, or memorial planning
  • Family & community support including facilitated conversations with loved ones, resource connections, and post-loss grief rituals

Pricing & Accessibility

I believe that every animal and every person who loves them deserves compassionate support, no matter their financial situation. If the listed rates are not manageable for you, please reach out — I offer a sliding scale when needed.

Initial Consultation — No Charge

Our first conversation (in person or via Zoom) is a gentle space to talk about your animal, what you’re noticing, and what you’re carrying emotionally. We’ll explore what kind of support might be helpful as you navigate anticipatory grief, changing symptoms, or decisions around comfort, hospice, or euthanasia. This time also helps us determine whether I’m the right fit for you and your pet.

After that, sessions are shaped around your animal’s condition, your emotional landscape, and the kind of guidance, presence, or practical support that would feel grounding.

Session Rates

Sessions are 1 hour long.

  • 1 session — $80
  • 3-session bundle — $225
  • 5-session bundle — $350
  • 10-session bundle — $650

Sessions can be used as needed. If your animal has a period of stability or improvement, you’re welcome to pause and resume whenever support becomes helpful again. Some people use sessions steadily; others reach out during moments of change, uncertainty, or emotional overwhelm.

Payment options: cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App.

For travel more than 30 minutes from Lancaster, an additional fee may apply.

How to Begin

You can reach out with a short description of what’s going on with you or your pet, or simply share whatever feels manageable. A little context helps me prepare so our time together is as supportive as possible. We can then schedule an in-person or Zoom consultation to explore what might be helpful.

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.
